The Sufi poet devises!

Bulleh Shah says:
'By wizardry and arrows,
I will capture my Lover -
Who is sulking with me!
I will burn magic-potions
And offer them to the sun
To achieve my Companion!
I will apply dense kohl -
Which will make my eyes
Like dark clouds to:
Attract my Lover!
With the force of seven oceans,
I will lift my heart's feelings
To win my Lover - My God -
So that He can show the power
Of His deep affections!'
