Bidding Beyond

Bidding Beyond

Past the understanding.

A day, a long way gone,
Like the gaze of a dead man;
At least, the dizzying desert
Connects the disconnected,
But, then, quizzically asks,
"What is coming up next?"

Realities' essence is reminiscent:
Of a convict's life in gulags,
Where he lives only in his own head,
With one more day replicating one more
Stepping-stone, to hell's siren-calls.
So, what is coming up next?

Unwilling, is any sense of peace;
That's what makes life: a great thinker.
After all, what is the object of living?
Within a moment of moments' fading time -
One, two, three minutes pass.
I see in the declining view,
The sky eat up the orange sun.

Another day, a long, long way gone.
